Addressing Injury in Elite Performers

Injury is trauma. A threat to our careers, our image of self, and our sense of normality. Navigating the process of injury, recovery, and return to sport while building skills for the common pitfalls like fear of re-injury, loss of identity, and the isolation that can come with injury is our approach.



It’s normal for performers to test the boundaries of pain for the sake of their performance. Without discounting that commitment, we work with performers to ensure that they have a safe and healthy relationship with pain and that testing their boundaries doesn’t lead to more severe injuries or a reduction in the quality of their training and performance.
